In 2024, Jacky’s short piece ‘Swimming Deep’ was selected and performed by wonderful actors at Script Yorkshire’s ‘Page to Stage’ event at Seven Arts in Leeds. Jacky’s piece was inspired by a full length play she is developing about the world of cold water swimming. The piece received positive and constructive feedback from an industry panel.
Loved the storyline – of water helping people with their different pains and losses, the coming together of support from ‘fellow souls’ and really loved the last few steps into the water. I also heard people behind me saying how strong yours was.
