2026 has been an interesting year of ups and downs! January/February saw me in a metal leg brace due to a skiing accident and knee injury. Spring meant rehab and writing. In August, I received the amazing news that my new play ‘Swimming Deep’ has received National Lottery Project funding through the Arts Council. I am over the moon!  Our brilliant creative team can now develop and rehearse scenes from the play and we plan to bring ‘Swimming Deep’ to theatre spaces and outdoor venues in spring 2027.

Having gained a place on Screen Yorkshire’s Script Diversity Programme last year, I am now writing the pilot episode for my first television drama, ‘The Pond’. Watch this space!

Working with teenagers on my first short play ‘Future Endings’, I have now written a new play ‘Common Room’ – a romantic comedy reflecting the lives of Gen Z. Working with a Director and students from Otley Prince Henry’s Grammar School, we have cast the play and are now in rehearsal. The play will be performed across three nights from 20 – 22 October 2026.
